The Hotel Leopoldo is a wonderful Tuscan Villa built at the beginning of '900; it faces the seafront of Castiglioncello, the most beautiful and celebrated promontory of the Etruscan Coast, and is located in a favourable and silent position, far from traffic noise and immersed in the quietness of the Pineta Marradi, only 200 metres far from Piazza della Vittoria (the town centre) and only 60 metres far from the beach stretching along the promenade that becomes a pedestrian area in the summer.
The hotel bedrooms and apartments for rent are equipped with independent air conditioning and high speed Internet connection. There is a garden where you can relax, have breakfast under the pine trees or read the programme of the Castiglioncello Festival that lasts all summer long and offers interesting and entertaining events every day. Our bedrooms (double and triple) are equipped with bathroom and shower, TV, direct phone, ADSL MODEM INTERNET (we also dispose of a wireless Internet access to allow you to navigate with your own laptop in the lounge or in the garden), mini-bar, heating, air conditioning (from June 14 to September 8). We also have the ideal solution for accommodating a family of 4 or 5 persons: for example, a small suite consisting of a double or triple bedroom, with or without balcony with sea view + bathroom + double room.
Our restaurant is normally open from June 15 to August 31: dinner costs 23 and comprises a first, second course, side dish, water and fruit. However, there are several restaurants nearby (from 50 to 400 metres far from the hotel) which range from the simple and cheap ones, including many pizza shops along the seafront, to the most sophisticated and costly. We will be pleased to help you find the right one. As for the beach (rocks and sand), there are at least 10 bathing establishments easy to reach by foot, from 60 to 500 metres far from the hotel, normally open from May to September. We wish to point out Bagni Ausonia and Bagni Roma, both with bar and restaurant. On request, we can send you the phone numbers of the others by fax or mail. The white beaches between Rosignano and Vada are really worth a visit; they are easy to reach - only 3 kms far from the hotel. This area consists of a wonderful free beach with dazzling white sands, a rare pearl in Continental Italy. It is the perfect location all year round for many photo shooting sessions, calendars and videos (also produced abroad). Lastly, it is the ideal place for getting a real tropical tan!
